It’s December, and the holiday season is here! Do you want your train to be part of the Christmas festivities? Then read on because we have some tips on how to make sure your trackless train is ready for all significant events this month.
You can decorate with lights or a tree, but if you want to go above and beyond, there are so many creative ways to decorate your Wattman Trackless train and the station! Here are a few ideas we recommend this year.
If you want to keep your Christmas station sustainable, it doesn’t have to be a real tree. An artificial one can last you years. You could consider putting it up at your station or adding a mini tree on top of your train.
These guys are one of our favorites because you can craft them to match your brand; they don’t take up too much space but still provide that wintery vibe everyone loves during this time of year.
Who doesn’t love candy canes?! They’re fun treats that add an extra bit of sweetness to every ride passengers take through your location! It’s best to hand the canes out when arriving back at the station. This way, you will keep the train clean; for safety precautions, it’s safer not to have the canes during the ride but rather after.
What better way to celebrate Christmas than by putting on a Santa hat? Provide all passengers with a Santa hat. The hats also fit perfectly on top of any carriage; make sure to assemble them correctly, so they won’t fall off when going around corners or over bumps in the road. Another option is to use reindeer antlers instead of Santa hats.
Provide your train driver with a suitable Christmas outfit for the season —for example, an elf, reindeer, or a gingerbread (wo)man. This will attract the attention of kids and parents because passengers love to take pictures with the driver, especially when their outfit matches the theme.
Enjoy the season with your passengers
Now you’re all set for the jolly season, all you need to do is promote your Christmas train. You can share images and videos on social channels, or even create flyers to share with locals to inform them of your Christmas events.
We wish you a Merry Christmas in advance, and hope that you enjoy the jolly season with your passengers!
